Kibble Cottage is tucked away in a peaceful pedestrian area of Wirksworth, a short walk from the town centre.
It sits on a hillside with no direct vehicle access to the door and is set over two floors with a steep, narrow internal staircase which may not suit guests with limited mobility.

PARKING
Kibble Cottage has no allocated parking space. However, free on-and off-street parking is available nearby at the Dale Car Park, subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis.

FROM CAR TO COTTAGE
You reach Kibble Cottage via two short pedestrian paths from the nearby parking area (one path is quite steep).
By Train
Wirksworth Station is the nearest station to Kibble Cottage, served by the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway from Duffield, where passengers can connect with East Midlands Railway mainline services.
The heritage service from Duffield to Wirksworth takes about 41 minutes. Services do not run every day, so guests should check the live timetable before travelling.

Run between Ashbourne, Wirksworth, Cromford, Matlock Bath and Matlock, with the two routes serving different villages around Carsington Water.
